Just like Archer, it remains its usefulness in Renaissance Age as the slow down effect can still be powerful even if it has lower dps than the splash damage towers in said era.ĭue to the Catapult being a Medieval Age tower, its starting cost and upgrade prices are increased by 30% in the Stone Age only when there are at least two players in the match. In any means, it is a better counterpart in several ways. Catapult is also a ground tower rather than a cliff tower like Egg Launcher. Egg Launcher has fast firerate while Catapult has slow firerate. In term of functionality however, they are dissimilar to each other. Nonetheless this tower is a higher counterpart of the Egg Launcher tower from the previous era, Stone Age. Depending on maps, it may be outranked by Archer but on some other maps, vice versa happens. The Catapult does a decent amount of splash damage but has a low fire rate.

It's buyable after you defeat Stone Age Impossible. The Catapult is a Medieval Age tower that functions similarly to the Egg Launcher. "A destructive machine that launches large rocks across the sky."' ―Description Overview
