As a melee, Adrenaline Overproduction makes you one hit everything even with low weapon-skill and strength. 4 has a GREAT one that immobilizes robots while still letting you damage them, and at level 5, there's the ever-awesome +60% Shiled, Soma and Wall. Even wit a PSI build, you can do well without any level 3 spells. You NEED to hack that Replicator on Engineering to get stacked of those sweet psi-hypos for cheaper price.Īlso google the cyb-module locations, you'll gonna need them ALL. And a few points in Maintenance (NEVER need more than 3 MAX). Or just go Standard Weapons 3 and use your (double upgraded) Handgun, Shotgun with the appropriate ammunition and of course the Wrench (grab the Sharpshooter OS then).

The Crystal Shard is more useful (although less cooler) weapon in the game because it works wonderfully on Annelids and does the job against robots too (remember to only upgrade Research to 3 and not more and get the Lethal Weapon OS). (Hydrophonics is easier level than Engineering with a wrench, you'll be okay). Still, you might be better to use the Shard from deck 4. You might save some nanites on recycling ammunition and get more psi-hypos out of it. Be advised, that later in the game there will be a lot of Annelids in the game so it won't be too effective against them meaning you will have to resort to your psi-powers (either the psi-sword, or the fireball). If you go Energy Weapons, you will need 4 for the Rapier. Going through the Engineering level and grabbing all the modules is not easy when the basic melee enemy can kill you in one hit (without the Tank OS/Upgrade).
